BettyCAREYDied peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Wishaw General on 23rd August 2019. A much loved mum, gran, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. The family would like to thank A&E, ECU and ward 4 staff at WGH for their unfailing care and compassion. Also Fr. Ricky, Fr. Chromy, Deacon Harry McKenna at WGH and Fr. Martin Delaney, parish priest of Sacred Heart Salsburgh for spiritual care to Betty and her family. Further thanks to Dr. Angus, Dr. Brough & partners at Salsburgh/Chapelhall surgery for their care and attention over many years. Thanks also go to Ann Binks for all her help and support during the last few weeks. Also Eileen Shelley for her continued support to the family. Personal friends; Joe Simmonette, Eileen & George Henderson and Derek and Amanda Gilmour for help, support and friendship. The family will be eternally grateful to Fiona & Ian Gilmour for their love, care, kindness and friendship over many years. The family also wish to extend their gratitude to Golden Eagle coaches Salsburgh, John Clark Funeral Directors, St Patrick's choir Shotts, caterers (Shotts Golf Club) and all family, friends and neighbours for floral tributes, Mass cards and messages of sympathy.
